Patrick Marron, MAcOM, LAc

Patrick's focus in utilizing Chinese Medicine to support fertility started during his graduate education. In 2012, he began his clinic rotations and crafted acupuncture and herbal treatments for patients who were in various stages of their reproductive journey. It was these clinical experiences that lead Patrick to become devoted to understanding how to utilize the best of eastern medicine in order to optimize all processes from conception to delivery.

Since arriving at TCRA in 2015, Patrick has been apart of many successes. He has been blessed to see lives improve and families grow. Over the course of thousands of patient visits, he has worked with couples looking to improve their overall health to improve their reproductive health. He is extremely passionate about supporting people through the dietary changes and lifestyle habits necessary to get their bodies functioning optimally and feeling better. Patrick is particularly enthusiastic about treating the underlying cause of PMS symptoms which will not only improve quality of life but also increase fertility.

In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, Patrick has been a licensed massage therapist for over 10 years. He received his Chinese medicine training from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin and his massage training from Potomac Massage Training Institute. His vast experience with bodywork modalities allows him to provide treatment sessions that are extremely gentle while also being highly therapeutic.

Patrick is originally from Annapolis, Maryland and moved to Austin in 2011. When he is not exploring the healing arts, he spends his time learning how to play the piano, swimming at Barton Springs, and Skyping with his three brothers and three nephews back in Maryland.

Lauren St. Pierre, MAcOM, LAc

Lauren comes to TCRA with a diverse clinical education. She was lucky enough to work with women experiencing fertility challenges during her Master’s program with AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, which made her passionate about helping to restore health and harmony to those patients. She’s seen firsthand how a seemly hopeless situation can have transformative results with proper nurturing and care using acupuncture, herbs, and nutrition.

Lauren has a professional background in working with the American Cancer Society for the past six years, addressing the needs of patients and their families at various points throughout their cancer experience. It was through this work that her personal journey with acupuncture first began – born out of a desire to see better patient-centered care. No matter what someone is facing, compassion, empathy and a true desire to affect change are at the heart of how Lauren approaches her work.

Lauren loves that no matter how complicated a medical diagnosis may be, simply using acupuncture and herbs to restore the natural balance of the body can yield amazing results.

Lauren has been in Austin since 2006, after moving with her husband from South Lake Tahoe, California where they grew up. They are currently building their home in San Leanna, in the South Austin area. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing tug-o-war with her two wild Boston terriers.

Lindsey Wilder Flatt, Practice Coordinator

A second year student of acupuncture at AOMA, Lindsey is awed by the holistic treatment system and philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her focus in healing has been inspired by the study of several different modalities, including traditional western herbalism and reiki. Growing up in Santa Fe, NM inspired Lindsey with an appreciation for the beauty and healing power of nature, and sparked her interest in natural and alternative medicine. A curious mind, and a thirst for knowledge has kept Lindsey's interests varied throughout her life. After graduating with a BA in English Lit, and a graduate certificate in publishing, Lindsey moved to Austin. In addition to a brief stint at the Austin Chronicle, Lindsey has spent her time in Texas pursuing her various interests: in music working at Waterloo Records; in art through independent study and participation in EAST; and in alternative medicine through school, independent workshops, and her work at TCRA. She has been consistently awed and inspired by the strength, resilience, compassion, and good humor of the patients that come through TCRA, and loves being able to be apart of the fertility journeys of each and every one of these amazing women and men. In her spare time she enjoys making art, reading, cooking, organic gardening, and taking care of her "wildcat" Cucumber, chickens, and pet goats Cabrita and Trotters Trotsky.
